Nexus Networking is an established group of business professionals and trades-people meeting in Chelmsford, Southend and Brentwood, Essex. We have successfully passed over £1.8m worth of business between ourselves since 2011.

The purpose of Nexus Networking is simple – to help you develop the contacts, skills and knowledge to grow your business and boost your profit! Invest your time wisely and make the introductions that really pay off.

We are a “not for profit” group and are committed to supporting charities working in the local community. Two years ago we held our first Charity Dinner and Dance and it was such a success we decided to make it an annual event.

We have raised the stakes this year by pledging to raise £30,000 for our 3 chosen charities, Crossroads, Sawyers Church and Brainwave. This year’s event is set to be bigger and better than before and we are delighted to be holding the event at the beautiful Orsett Hall Hotel.

The evening will commence with a drinks reception on the lawn (weather permitting!) and guests will enjoy a 3 course meal with half a bottle of wine per person. The entertainment for the evening will be provided by a Nexus member, Nigel Kirby who will be singing “Ratpack” songs for us, an after dinner speaker (award winning entrepreneur, James Eder) and a DJ for dancing into the early hours.

We also have a professional compere and auctioneer and there will be some very special auction lots available to bid for, in both a live and a silent auction. The auction lots so far include 2 weeks in a cottage in France, a signed and framed “Only Fools and Horses” photograph and a weekend break on the Eurostar to Paris in a 4* hotel. Those items are in addition to the sporting memorabilia that will be available to bid on. Watch this space for updates.
